Workflow automation
Handoffs that run without someone chasing them.
We automate the workflows your team already runs, approvals, routing, sync, and alerts, so work moves on schedule instead of living in inboxes and spreadsheets.

Overview
Workflow automation is not about replacing people. It is about removing the repetitive steps between decisions: copying data between systems, reminding someone to approve, updating a status nobody remembers to change.
Auviel is headquartered in Toronto and operates a product engineering studio across Ontario, including Kitchener Waterloo. We map how work actually flows through your stack, then build integrations, rules, and AI where they earn their place, not a generic platform that forces your team into someone else’s process.
Our proof includes Book Reliable (10× logistics throughput), Flowforce (AI CRM we operate), and operational platforms where automation is the product, not a slide in a strategy deck.
What we see holding teams back
Processes trapped in people’s heads
The “real” workflow lives in Slack threads, email forwards, and one person who knows which tab to open. When they are out, work stalls.
Tools that do not talk
CRM, ERP, spreadsheets, and SaaS products each hold part of the truth. Staff spend hours reconciling instead of acting on a single clear state.
Automation that breaks quietly
Zapier chains and one-off scripts work until an API changes, a field rename lands, or volume spikes. Nobody notices until customers or finance do.
How we work
- 01
Map the workflow before the tooling
We document triggers, owners, exceptions, and what “done” means, then choose build vs buy vs hybrid automation that fits how your team actually operates.
- 02
Observable by default
Logging, alerts, and rollback paths your ops team can read. When something fails at 9 p.m., someone knows what broke and how to recover.
- 03
Ship vertical slices
One queue automated, one report generated, one approval routed, measured ROI per slice instead of a multi-month “transformation” that never lands.

Frequently asked questions
What is workflow automation?
Software that moves work between people and systems without manual copy-paste: routing approvals, syncing records, triggering notifications, and updating status when events happen. It can be rules-based, integration-driven, or AI-assisted where judgment is needed.
How is this different from AI automation consulting?
Workflow automation focuses on operational handoffs and integrations, often rules, webhooks, and orchestration. AI automation consulting adds model selection, agents, and evals when language or unstructured data is core to the workflow. Many projects combine both.
Can you automate our existing SaaS stack?
Yes. We integrate with common CRMs, ERPs, databases, and cloud APIs. We prefer extending what you have over replacing it unless the current stack is the bottleneck.
Do you use no code tools or custom code?
Both, depending on longevity and complexity. Lightweight triggers may live in managed automation; critical paths get version-controlled code, tests, and monitoring so they survive API changes and scale.
What does a typical engagement look like?
Discovery on one high-friction workflow (1 to 2 weeks), then delivery of a production slice with documentation and monitoring. Larger programs run in phases with clear success metrics per workflow.
Where is Auviel based?
Our global headquarters is in Toronto at 150 King Street West, Suite 200, Toronto, ON M5H 1J9. We work with teams across Canada, the US, and Nigeria. See auviel.com/locations for all offices.
