Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 21, 2026
We build products and experiences for clients who trust us with their goals, and sometimes their data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can reach us.
1. Who we are
Auviel Inc. (“Auviel,” “we,” “us”) is a software and AI product studio based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This policy covers www.auviel.com and related marketing surfaces we operate (including our blog and demo / contact flows).
Questions or privacy requests: hello@auviel.com.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal information collected through our website, demo and contact forms, and related communications. It does not cover:
- Third-party products we build for clients (governed by their own agreements and policies)
- Sites we link to (including social networks and the Flowforce product app at flowforce.app, which may have its own privacy notice)
- Job applicants, employees, or contractors under separate HR processes, if any
3. Information we collect
We may collect:
- Contact and inquiry details you submit, for example name, email, company, job title, country, project interests, budget range, how you heard about us, and free-text notes.
- Technical and usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, referring URL, and similar diagnostics when analytics are enabled.
- Communication content if you email us.
- Preference data stored locally on your device (for example whether you dismissed a site announcement), via local storage rather than a classic cookie.
We do not intentionally collect payment card numbers through www.auviel.com. Paid product billing, if any, is handled in the relevant product or by a payment processor under that product’s terms.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to demo requests and project inquiries
- Qualify fit and follow up about services or products (including Flowforce)
- Operate, secure, and improve our website and content
- Publish and deliver blog content (including related images hosted by our CMS)
- Meet legal or compliance obligations when required
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Analytics, forms, and processors
Depending on configuration, processors that may handle data on our behalf include:
- Cloudflare, hosting / delivery and, when enabled, Cloudflare Web Analytics (typically limited measurement; see Cloudflare’s documentation)
- Google Analytics, site usage analytics when enabled
- Flowforce / form tooling, demo and contact form submissions when a form endpoint is configured
- Sanity, blog content management and related media delivery
- Self-hosted fonts, typography files served from our site (no third-party font CDN)
These providers process data under their own terms and safeguards. Some are located outside Canada (including in the United States or elsewhere), so information may be processed in or accessed from other countries that may have different privacy laws.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for essential site behavior (for example remembering a dismissed announcement) and, when enabled, analytics. Details are in our Cookie Policy.
7. Retention
We keep inquiry and related records only as long as needed for the purposes above, or longer when required by law or legitimate business needs (for example ongoing client work or dispute handling).
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Email hello@auviel.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages, where offered.
You can control many cookies through your browser settings; see the Cookie Policy for more.
9. Children
The Site is directed at business audiences and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure; please use judgment when sharing sensitive details over forms or email.
11. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
